Communications
The Communications Center is staffed with dedicated men and women who work to serve the needs of our citizens. Our Communications Center is fully operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Responsibilities of our Communications Specialists include answering and dispatching calls for service, using our Computer Based Dispatching system to send officers information needed to respond to calls for service, and to gather information through various methods to distribute to responding officers. This allows our officers to get the valuable, and life saving information in seconds, to keep them safe, as well as serving the citizens to the best of our ability.
The Communications Center also takes incoming phone calls, including approximately 600 emergency 9-1-1 calls per month.
The Communication Specialists are: Edie Farnum, Connie Fifelski, Terri Guerra, Eric Nieves, Jennifer Rieger, Christi Spence, Butch West, Theresa Rodriguez, Shelly Brana, Marjorie Murray, Richard Mclaren, and Wayne Wagner.
