Training Unit
Training has often been cited as one of the most important responsibilities in any law enforcement agency. Training serves three broad purposes. First, well trained members are generally better prepared to act decisively and correctly in a broad spectrum of situations. Second, training results in greater productivity and success. Third, training fosters cooperation and unity of purpose. The Winter Springs Police Department provides many different types of training for our members so that they can give the community the best service possible. Training unit point of contact is Cpl.
