The Records Department is staffed with dedicated people who keep up with the maintenance of the reporting of incidents and calls for service. The Records Department also handles requests for copies of police reports available to the public, fingerprinting services for the community, and local background checks. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 5:00pm.

To better assist you and our clerks before you arrive here is some additional information to help you. The following information is necessary to identify the record:

Please allow minimally three (3) buisness days following the date of the incident to request copies of the reports.

The cost of the copies of reports is as follows:

  • Single page copy $.15
  • Double sided Single page copy $.20
  • Copies of photographs, video and audio tapes will be charged at the cost of actual duplication.
  • If the request is very extensive in nature, an additional cost could be included to cover the work required to meet the request.

Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is done Monday thru Friday from 9:00am-12:00pm and from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Winter Springs Police Department, located at 300 North Moss Road in Winter Springs. There is a charge of $5.00 for residents and $15.00 for non-residents. You will also need to show valid proof of identification using a government or state issued document.
