Welcome to the Office of the City Clerk. The City Clerk is appointed and ratified by the Mayor and City Commission and serves the City of Winter Springs as a Charter Officer. The City Clerk is the official records keeper of the City and custodian of the City seal.
The City Clerk and Staff work closely with the Mayor, the City Commission, the City Manager, Staff, and the general public. This office supports the City's legislative body by recording and maintaining the official records and legislative history of the City of Winter Springs. The Office of the City Clerk is also responsible for providing Notice of all official Meetings; issues all City Commission and Advisory Board and Committee Agendas (in coordination with the City Manager); and provides the Minutes for all City Commission and Advisory Board and Committee Meetings and Workshops.
Additionally, the City Clerk is also the designated local Elections Official and Filing Officer for all City elections; provides a wide range of public information services; and performs all mandated functions under the United States Constitution, the Constitution of the State of Florida, the Florida Election Code, and the Charter of the City of Winter Springs, Florida.
The Office of the City Clerk is proud and honored to serve the Mayor and City Commission of the City of Winter Springs, while working to assist the City Manager and his/her Staff; all Advisory Board and Committee Members; and the general public with any needs and concerns that they may have.
