City Parks & Facilities

The City's park system consists of nine park sites which are developed for public use. There are approximately 350 acres available for use or future development within the city. 125 acres are presently developed, 175 acres are environmentally sensitive and approximately 50 acres are undeveloped.

Bear Creek Nature Trail

1555 Winter Springs Blvd.

A very pleasant passive area with a nature trail that parallels Bear Creek. Contains two small bridges and three picnic tables. A great place to have a picnic lunch during the week.

Central Winds Park

1000 Central Winds Dr.

A community park with baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, and volleyball courts. On the west side, there is a family fun area that includes pavilions, picnic grills, a playground, and a nature trail.

Come out and enjoy our beautiful dog park, located on the west end of Central Winds Park. You will find all the amenities our canine friends could want, from watering stations to agility stations. Does your dog need room to run? Our dog park has plenty of room for man’s best friend to roam.

The Dog Park is closed on Wednesdays for grounds maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Fruitwood Park

601 Fruitwood Ave.

A neighborhood mini-park with swings located at Fruitwood Avenue and Panama Road.

Moss Park

314 S. Moss Road.

A neighborhood park with basketball courts, a playground, and a small picnic shelter. The park is located on Moss Road and Dolphin Road.

Ranchlands Park

191 E. Tradewinds Road.

A mini-park with a volleyball court, horseshoe pit, picnic shelter, and a barbeque pit. This park is located on a small lake at Ranchland Road and Hayes Road. A great place for a family gathering.

Sam Smith Memorial Park

1562 Winter Springs Blvd.

A neighborhood park with a playground and large pavilion with grills. Great facility for hosting a family reunion.

Sunshine Park

400 N. Edgemon Ave.

A neighborhood park with basketball and volleyball courts, picnic facilities, small softball practice fields, our senior center, and therapy pool. The civic center with a community room is available for rent.

Torcaso Park

104 N. Moss Road.

A neighborhood park with two lit basketball courts, playground equipment, splash playground, soccer, football field, and fishing pier.

Trotwood Park

701 Northern Way & 1224 Trotwood Blvd.

A large neighborhood park which is developed with tennis, and basketball courts. There are also softball and soccer fields available for sporting events.

Winding Hollow Park

305 Winding Hollow Blvd.

A neighborhood park with tot and youth playgrounds.
