Therapy Pool December Update

We are in the beginning of our last session of the year.  Where has 2011 gone?  The session will end December 9th followed by a week of open swim until December 16th.  December 19th the pool will close for annual maintenance and will reopen January 3rd for open swim and registration for the first session of 2012.  Classes will resume on January 9th, 2012.

The WINTER SPRINGS THERAPY POOL HOLIDAY POT LUCK on November 8th was a big success!  The food went for miles with everything you could imagine from the Turkey to the Pumpkin Pie.  Keep watching for our next one, it should be held some time in February that way you will have time to work off all the holiday treats.

We would also like to give a big thank you to our instructors because without them there would be no Therapy in our pool.  Our instructors volunteer their time enabling the Winter Springs Therapy Pool to be awarded the "2011 Top Aquatic Program in the State of Florida" and "#20 in the United States".  With that said THANK YOU:  Dell Walker, City of Winter Springs Guest Services and Water Fitness Instructor; MaryBeth Pettyjohn, Aerobics H2O instructor; Sue Walker, Strength and Flexibility instructor; Carole Blake, Basic Arthritis instructor; Carol Tremaine, Water Wake-Up instructor; Walter Fuller, Walk-Tone and Balance instructor; Denise Tucker, Walk-Tone and Balance instructor; Kitra Weaver, Aerobics H2O instructor; Kathy Scharf, Aerobics H2O instructor; and Diane Oliver, Aerobics H2O instructor.

"Success Stories"

Our members are so happy to tell their success stories and what stories they are. It is just amazing that the City of Winter Springs is able to offer all the benefits that the Chuck Pula Therapy Pool has to offer. Our bodies need to move to stay healthy and that is the Therapy Pool does and that is why we have so many success stories. Some you may have already read but we hate to remove them but we are always adding new ones. So, here are a few some will just make you laugh and others may touch your heart and really let you know what is possible. .
