This is the Adopted Budget for the fiscal year 2009-2010 as approved by the Commission at the Final Public Hearing on September 28, 2009. The final operating millage rate was established at 2.4714 mills and the final voted debt millage rate was established at 0.1100 mills. These rates remain unchanged from the previous fiscal year. Last year, the 2008-2009 budget document received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. We believe the 2009-2010 budget document continues to conform to program requirements and have submitted it to Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada to determine its eligibility for another year.
