Residents can register up to five separate locations to receive alerts. These locations are static and based on the addresses saved in your profile. You'll receive alerts for any of these registered locations if they fall within an affected area identified by the National Weather Service (NWS). Rest assured, these alerts are not based on your current dynamic location.

When we notify you about a potential safety hazard or concern, you will receive a message on the voice or text communication methods you registered. If requested for the notification, you can confirm that you have received the message, and you will not be contacted by any subsequent methods regarding that particular notification. If you do not confirm, the system will attempt to reach you at all of the contact paths you have registered.

Depending on your phone and provider, you may receive State and National alerts, such as Amber Alerts.  These alerts are done through a Federal network.  Locally based alerts will come from this service.
