Self Serve Sandbag Operation

In anticipation of potential severe weather, the City of Winter Springs, along with Seminole County, will begin sandbag operations on August 26, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. at Central Winds Park, located at 1000 Central Winds Drive. Empty bags and sand will be available to all residents of Seminole County from  8 a.m. to 7 p.m. or while supplies last. Residents are limited to a total of 15 sandbags per household and should bring their own shovels, and gloves and be prepared to fill and load the bags themselves.  It is recommended that you bring a partner to assist, as filled sandbags can weigh approximately 35 pounds.
