Mayor & Commission

The City of Winter Springs is a charter city with its legislative powers held by the Mayor and City Commission that functions under a Commission/Manager form of government. This method effectively combines the political expertise of the elected officials with the executive leadership of the City Manager. The Mayor and five City Commissioners are elected to serve four-year terms; while each of the five City Commissioners hails from a different district, they and the Mayor are elected at-large to serve the entire City rather than specific neighborhoods. See below to find out which district you live in!
