Rob Elliott is a native Floridian originally from St. Pete Beach, FL. In 1979, he graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism and Communications and began his career as a State of Florida Felony Correctional Probation Officer. He then made an industry change and started his 34-year career in insurance. He currently manages a group of insurance fraud investigators covering the entire country, focusing on large scale medical fraud investigations and motor vehicle fires and thefts.

Rob and his wife, Sarah, have been married since 1984 and became residents of Winter Springs in 1997. They have three daughters, one son, and five grandchildren. Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, traveling, paddle boarding, woodworking, and attending mission trips. He is an accomplished “fixer upper” and regularly assists community members with construction projects. He is also an active Deacon in his church. In recent years, he has participated in multiple mission trips to Uganda, working to provide housing, education, nutrition, healthcare, and protection to abused and abandoned children.
